Daiwa CN-501H2 1.8-150MHz X Needle SWR/Pwr Meter w/UHF

First of all I didn't expect this meter to preform like a high end meter. But with an average/peak switch I hoped it would be somewhat close to a Dosey but it is nowhere near. When the switch is set to AVG it is showing backwards swing on any radio I put on it unless it is on SSB with modulation. When set on PEP it shows forward swing but the higher the wattage the stingier the needle is. So I'm saying that if you have a 80 watt radio expect it to only read 30-35ish watts. I will keep it because the swr seems to be spot on and it works on a wide array of bands. The white led is nice and bright but not to bright. It looks good in a bright room or with the lights off. Would I purchase another? No. But if you don't mind the lack there of peak watt readings then you may like this wide banded meter.
