Featuring 4 spatial streams and an integrated directional super antenna, this AP provides expansive coverage and reliable throughput, making it ideal for large outdoor areas, campuses, or public spaces.
Experience the power of WiFi 7 (802.11be) standard with 4 spatial streams, supporting impressive data rates up to 4.3 Gbps on the 5 GHz band (BW240) and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz (BW40). Its unique integrated directional antenna (12.5 dBi at 5 GHz, 8 dBi at 2.4 GHz) with narrow beamwidths ensures focused, long-range coverage, complemented by external omni antennas for broader dispersion if needed. Designed for vast coverage, the U7 Outdoor can cover an expansive 465 m² (5,000 ft²) and support over 250 clients, ensuring reliable connectivity even in high-density outdoor deployments. A 2.5 GbE uplink provides ample backhaul for high-speed wireless traffic.
The U7 Outdoor is built for outdoor resilience with IPX6 weatherproofing and a durable UV-stabilized polycarbonate and aluminum alloy enclosure. It can withstand significant wind loading of 74.6 N at 200 km/h (16.8 lbf at 125 mph) and operates reliably in extreme ambient temperatures from -30 to 60° C (-22 to 140° F). Mounting is versatile, with wall and pole mounts included to suit various outdoor installations.
Advanced radio management features include Wireless Meshing, Band Steering, 802.11v BSS Transition Management, 802.11r Fast Roaming, and 802.11k Radio Resource Management (RRM), optimizing client connectivity and network efficiency. Comprehensive guest management options like Passpoint (Hotspot 2.0) and a customizable Captive Hotspot Portal are available.
