Used (Acceptable) Icom AH-109PB 10-10.5 GHZ Parabolic Antenna with Mount

The Icom AH-109PB is a high-gain, parabolic antenna specifically engineered for exceptional performance on the 10 GHz band. Designed as an ideal companion for the Icom IC-905 transceiver and CX-10G transverter, this antenna features a splash plate feed for optimized efficiency, making it perfect for serious weak-signal terrestrial communication, amateur radio contesting, or experimental microwave operations.

Operating within the frequency range of 10.0 GHz to 10.5 GHz, the AH-109PB delivers an impressive 31 dBi typical gain, allowing for strong signal reception and transmission over long distances. With a narrow half-power beam width of approximately 4 degrees in the E-plane, this antenna provides precise directional focus, crucial for targeting distant stations. It supports vertical polarization and has a standard 50 Ω impedance with a VSWR of 2.0 or less, ensuring efficient power transfer. The antenna connects via an SMA-J connector, commonly used for microwave applications.

Built to withstand challenging outdoor conditions, the AH-109PB boasts a wind velocity survival rating of 50 m/s (111.8 mph) when mounted on a 60.5 mm (2.4 in) diameter pole. It can be attached to poles with diameters ranging from 32 to 60.5 mm (1.3 to 2.4 in). Weighing approximately 2.0 kg (4.4 lb) with the bracket, it offers a robust yet manageable solution for fixed or portable microwave setups.
