I added this to my 4BTV (plus 30M) vertical. Made a bracket for it out of 1.25 aluminum angle which was then clamped to the 4BTV with 1.25 clamp. Mounting location just below the 10M trap. RM-17 is 7” away from mast. Whip was shortened all the way and tune up was a breeze.
Only slightly change resonance on 10 which required lengthening by 1.5 inches.
