Intellitron AM-2307KD 54ft Heavy-Duty Telescopic Fiberglass Mast with Quick-Release Clamps

This mast cou km d definitely come with instructions or torque specs but otherwise very good construction, heavy duty and stout

I'm using this to support the feed point of an OCFD at about 45 feet high (18" overlap between sections. Planning to use it at another location to hold a VHF vertical at maybe 30 feet (antenna clamps over two nested sections.)
With some 1/8" Dacron guy ropes, this is a very sturdy mast. Clamps are easy to adjust, and it can be installed by one person (assuming you have a sturdy 8 to 10 foot stepladder.)

Bought this for testing out dipole antennas for a upcoming mini-DXpedition. Quite large for the trip but with the guy rings for securing at full height...works amazing.

I have been using this mast for 4 months now. We have had a lot of lightning storms this year here in Georgia. When a storm rolls in I lower my mast and disconnect the cable from my antenna. It is so easy to raise and lower. The clamps are easy to adjust and use.

Now that the snow has melted in NNY I had the opportunity to put this thing up. I didn’t need the full 53’, I wanted to leave more than the recommended amount of pole length inside the previous pole by one foot. I purchased the guy rings with it. This thing is absolutely bomb proof! This will be erected 2-3 times a month at my camp. I am using 4 guy points with 3 lines each. It’s not a POTA mast and takes a little time to get it up but I consider this the best deal on the market.

Hello everyone at GigaParts. I purchased this 53 ft HD mast for a specific reason. I plan on activating on POTA and needed something I could set up quickly, was very sturdy, and strong in light wind. I have a BuddiHex Beam I will be installing on top and did not want to worry about guide lines raised up 30-35 feet max. I initially set the mast up at 33 feet. The very top extension was not extended along with the second extension at the bottom. Also, the length of each section is about 6-7 feet, and I only have them about 4.5 feet. My point is I wanted a mast that is sturdy and strong. My BuddiHex Beam will weigh about 8-9 lbs. and I only need 25-35 feet in the air. This is heavier than most carbon fiber and light weight fiberglass masts, however, every time you see pictures of the other masts they are bent over like a fishing pole about to break; I did not want that. I also plan on installing a concrete pad with a tube in the concrete allowing me to put this up at my home. So far I am pleased, but I plan to install the BuddiHex Beam on top and give the mast a true trial test in a couple of weeks. More to come.

YOU DONT REALIZE HOW TALL 53' UNTIL YOU RAISE THE MAST. i LIVE ON A GOLF GOURSE AND THIS MAST IS BASICALLY INVISIBLE. USING A G5RV DIPOLE AND DARK GREEN NYLON SHOT LINE FOR GUIDE WIRES. IF YOU DONT KNOW ITS THERE IT IS INVISIBLE. WHEN I AM DRIVING BY THE HOUSE OR PULLING IN AND OUT OF THE DRIVE WAY i LOOK AND HAVE A HARD TIME SEEING THE MAST AND i INSTALLED IT. THE FEED LINE TO THE G5RV DIPOLE IS A DARK BROWN AND THAT IS THE ONLY VISIBLE THING. THE MAST SLIDES UP AND DOWN WITH EASE. SO EASY, EVEN THE VERY LAST STAGE GOING UP. GREAT PRODUCT. KEEP IT WAXED WITH CARNUBA WAX SO THE SUN DOES NOT START WEATHING THE FIBERGLASS. sHOULD LAST A LONG TIME AND UNDER 300 DOLLARS ITS WORTH IT.

I was worried it would be difficult to raise the final stages but it is easy. The supplied clamps are easy to adjust and use. Easy to raise and lower. Wish I had bought a long time ago. Living in an hoa this mast is hard to see. Even at 53 feet it towers over my house. Highly recommend
