Printing Tips

Bambu PETG Basic is prone to string, oozing or sticking to nozzle when it gets wet. Drying conditions: 65℃ for 8 hrs. Store in a dry environment after use. Dry before use if the material absorbs moisture. For more details please refer to: Filament drying instructions on WIKI.
Due to the transparent properties of the filament, Lidar Extrusion Calibration can be affected when printing Transparent PETG.
To get shinier looks, set lower speeds and relatively higher temperatures.

Easy to work with

I'm new into printing but this material is fairly straightforward to work with and has produced good results for me. I do wish it were available off - spool as I may be using more of it but am concerned that it's being discontinued as Bambu does not offer it from their store. I'm curious about how it compares to the PETG-HF as I've heard that the PETG Basic creates stronger parts, but stronger is relative and an unknown quantity.
