Replacement sections are hard to get

I liked the mast, but when I was being careless I broke one of the end sections. I was happy to see that replacement sections are sold and I didn't have to buy a whole new mast. Unfortunately I placed my order four months ago (November 2025) and I still don't have my replacement section. It was very frustrating seeing that Gigaparts was selling completed masts, but I couldn't get a replacement section.

My other mast is way too whippy with even a small unun attached at the top. This mast is much more rigid and remains very light and easy to pack.... love it!

I've had this mast for a while now and have only used it twice in that time. Like many reviewers have said, I really appreciate its size and weight. It's also quite durable being made of carbon fiber. I also like the ring as the top end and how the cap slips over the ring to make extending the top section easier.
I have set up mine by drilling a hole in the end-cap and securing it with para card (to keep from losing the cap) and wrapping the top section with electrical tape and a hose clamp. The hose clamp secures the leash to the end-cap and 3 para cord loops to attach guy ropes.

I can deploy both an EFHW and a roll-up J-pole simultaneously if I want to. This is definitely a nice addition to any kit. I would recommend this item to anyone who wanted a nice mast for their set up.

A perfect backpack mast

Small enough to fit in a backpack but sturdy enough to hold a 65ft long wire in the air this mast is perfect for the ultralight backpacker or the air traveler. Surprisingly small when collapsed I can keep this mast with me when walking around the city then deploys easily in those small urban parks without getting unwanted attention. I have the 33ft HD mast which is incredible in it's own right but it too big for some deployments. The secret to the 20 ft mast isn't to use it on it's own, but to use it to "thread" the antenna wire from branch to branch in the trees.
