Loving the FT-710! Had it for about a week now, still fine tuning it and dialing it in, Love the fact that you can add a monitor to it so i can see the function's better. I am a weather watcher and Skywarn Certified, so the Mars mod may come in handy. The shipment was fast and well packaged. Currently using a EFHW antenna, but looking to maybe upgrade for better RX/TX. Thank you GigaParts for being an Awesome company to work with! 73's!!

Really enjoying all the features packed into this radio. Only thing I wish they would do is extend the time on the features popup screens they disappear quickly. Menus are not difficult to use there is just a lot of them, which I like variety and adjustments. Nice touch on the monitor and mouse hookups. Very enjoyable along with a great receive. Transmit audio on SSB is Steller after adjusting with desk microphone. The extension speaker and Aess sound system is a plus. Thank you GigaParts!

I purchase the ft-710AESS as a base station. Everything looks and sounds good. I am still setting up a shack. But very impressed so far.. appeears easy to opperate. Menus are nice.

Like the radio size for my shack. RX is exceptional. TX gets better if you make some adjustments to the menu settings. I think Yaesu has the settings a bit too bland. Make certain you have updated your software because the last one for me made enhanced the DNR quality and seems to have eliminated the underwater sound. My other rig is an 891. Both are great!

Yaesu FT-710 AESS, my first and only!

In the last year I have obtained my Technician, General an Extra Class licenses and just now completed my task. The Yaesu FT-710 AESS is the first radio I purchased, I know nothing about any other transceiver, but I am satisfied with this radio for the price! The thing that impresses me the most is the fact that I can connect a 14 inch computer monitor to the radio and have a visibly large screen to see all of the details, also the fact that you can connect a mouse to the USB port and select screen objects is really incredible. I think that the Yaesu FT-710 AESS is a great product and I will be satisfied for many years to come!

I have enjoyed learning all the controls and the menus. The DNF is excellent! However the DNR needs some improvement. Not very useful past
