The Direct Sampling SDR section provides astounding visual awareness of activity across the band as well as detail around the operating frequency on each receiver. The large, precision color touch-panel display also features gorgeous dual multi-function meters, dual frequency readouts and multi-functional touch controls, plus the exclusive 3DSS - Three Dimension Spectrum Stream waterfall and panadapter scope. Ergonomically arranged transceiver controls are centered about a large, tactile and weighted VFO. The Main knob is enhanced with the MPVD; Multi-Purpose VFO Outer Dial which controls the sub receiver VFO, clarifier, VC-Tune RF Preselector**, VFO fine tuning and a user defined Custom Selection function. A welcome feature, each function of the identical Main (A) and Sub (B) receivers have separate independent front panel controls; AF and RF gain, Shift, Width, Notch, Contour, Digital Noise Reduction and APF. Built for the serious contester, dual LED push-buttons comprise the Active Band Indicator for each receiver, enabling effortless and rapid independent band changes. Adjustments of mode-specific settings and levels are displayed and accomplished quickly with the press-and-turn Multi-function selector.
